Overview

As a Business Development Representative at APS, you will be responsible for generating qualified meetings through outbound initiatives, contributing to our mission of simplifying payroll and HR for mid-market organizations.

In Short

  • Generate qualified meetings through outbound calling and emailing.
  • Develop knowledge of APS products to present value to leads.
  • Understand product/market fit and profile target companies.
  • Prospect into specific markets to generate interest.
  • Qualify leads and set meetings for sales representatives.
  • Maintain regular meetings and set goals with management.
  • Manage tasks using Salesforce and other tools.
  • Continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimal B2B and new business sales experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of web-based technologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar systems.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with executives.
  • Client-centric focus and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
