Overview

The Business Development Representative is responsible for generating qualified meetings through outbound initiatives such as calling and emailing, aimed at simplifying payroll and HR tasks for mid-market organizations.

In Short

  • Develop knowledge of APS’ products and services.
  • Prospect into specific markets to generate interest.
  • Qualify leads and set meetings for sales representatives.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly meetings and goals.
  • Manage the use of Salesforce and other tools.
  • Continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with business owners and executives.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with constant deadlines.
  • Collaborate as part of a team.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimal B2B and new business sales experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of web-based technologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar systems.
  • Strong communication and client-centric focus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills.
  • Must understand company guidelines and procedures.
  • Must be able to work necessary hours for success.
