Overview

The Business Development Representative is responsible for generating qualified meetings through outbound initiatives such as calling and emailing. This position is eligible for full remote opportunity for individuals living and working in Florida.

In Short

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of APS’ products and services.
  • Prospect into specific markets to generate interest in APS.
  • Qualify leads and set meetings for sales representatives.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other tools for follow-up tasks.
  • Continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Follow up with leads to maintain engagement.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong client-centric focus and communication skills required.
  • Regular travel may be required if not local.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimal B2B and new business sales experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of web-based technologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills.
  • Ability to handle deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Understanding of company guidelines and procedures.
  • Must be able to work hours necessary for the role.
