Overview

This position's primary responsibility is to develop opportunities and close business for Ascend Technologies Managed Services offerings through strong new account development strategies and execution, consultative selling focused on business outcomes, and effective execution toward gaining customer commitment.

  • Document and execute strategies to engage new clients.
  • Identify opportunities for Ascend Managed Services offerings.
  • Drive customer interest in services.
  • Qualify opportunities to ensure they align with business needs.
  • Lead the sales process and team through opportunity pursuits.
  • Own customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts.
  • Close business and achieve sales targets.
  • Manage business through accurate forecasting and data management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years successful managed services sales experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years successful new account development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a technology field.
  • Ability to develop relationships with decision makers.
  • Experience in consultative selling.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and creativity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
