Overview

The Business Development Executive is responsible for developing opportunities and closing business for Ascend Technologies Managed Services offerings through effective account development strategies and consultative selling.

  • Manage accurate forecasting and account data.
  • Exhibit strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of managed services sales experience.
  • 5+ years of new account development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Ability to develop relationships with decision makers.
  • Consultative selling experience focusing on business outcomes.
  • Experience with complex B2B services sales.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and initiative.
  • PC and Internet skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
