Overview

The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with clients in the commodities and energy markets, focusing on understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.

In Short

  • Build and identify growth opportunities within your territory from existing customers.
  • Generate new business by prospecting and pursuing qualified leads.
  • Coordinate and manage resources internally to maximize client value.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers.
  • Become a trusted advisor to clients regarding new products and services.
  • Manage account administration through the CRM system.
  • Work in a team environment with a strong work/life balance.
  • Cover client meetings and events with some travel required.
  • Work Monday through Friday, with flexible hours as needed.

Requirements

  • Independent, self-motivated, and disciplined in following through sales cycles.
  • Educated to degree level or above.
  • Experience in frontline information or B2B sales.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with international leaders.
  • Experience in the commodities industry’s price data subscription sales is a bonus.
