Overview

Our client, a business unit of a large American company with around 10,000 employees worldwide, has been providing solutions in the field of powder handling for over 40 years. They are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager for a remote position in Germany.

In Short

• Develop and implement sales strategies for the DACH, Benelux, Poland, and neighboring countries, focusing on the German market.
• Manage and advise key account customers in the sales region, including identifying new sales opportunities.
• Identify, evaluate, and acquire new customers.
• Manage existing sales agencies in the region and train new agencies as needed.
• Conduct customer visits and coordinate product demonstrations.
• Clarify product requirements with customers and internal departments.
• Prepare offers, negotiate, and finalize contracts.
• Create sales forecasts.
• Provide market and customer information to the marketing team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or an engineering field or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in sales/outside sales of machinery or capital goods to manufacturing companies.
• Willingness to travel within the sales area.
• Knowledge of powder handling equipment is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
