German-speaking Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d) Project Business Industry - Southern Europe in Italy - Remote

Overview

Our client is a traditional manufacturing company with around 150 employees that produces firefighting equipment. The industrial division sells firefighting systems to industrial companies such as ports or waste incineration plants. The company is part of an international conglomerate with approximately 10,000 employees. They are currently seeking a German-speaking Regional Sales Manager for Project Business in Southern Europe, based in Italy.

In Short

• Preparation and achievement of the annual budget by region, product, and amount
• Customer acquisition and building long-term customer relationships in the assigned area
• Development of project proposals in collaboration with specialist departments
• Coordination of projects from the proposal phase to acceptance and commissioning at the customer
• Presentation of products and solution concepts on-site at customer, dealer, or in-house
• Compilation of market data, products, and trends
• Creation of regular customer visit reports and updates
• Planning and organization of trade fairs in collaboration with European Fire & Rescue Units

Requirements

• Completed commercial vocational training or equivalent
• Ideally several years of professional experience in technical sales
• Experience in conducting technical training is an advantage
• Proficient use of common MS Office programs
• Preferably experience in the sales of extinguishing products in the industrial sector or firefighting products
• High willingness to travel (Southern Europe)
• Good German skills and very good English skills. Knowledge of Southern European languages (Italian, Spanish) is desirable
