Solutions Engineer - Remote

Overview

Amper is seeking a technically adept Solutions Engineer to design, deploy, and support integration solutions that connect our product with customer ecosystems in a post-sales capacity. This role requires a deep understanding of data mapping, workflow design, and IT infrastructure, along with the ability to engage directly with customer IT and business teams.

In Short

• Lead technical discovery with customers to understand integration needs, data models, and business workflows.
• Design integration architectures that map Amper’s product to customer environments.
• Develop solution designs that account for IT constraints such as security and networking.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for integration projects.
• Work alongside CSMs and TAMs to guide customers through the implementation process.
• Lead technical troubleshooting efforts across APIs and databases.
• Assist in deploying and validating integration solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance Amper’s API capabilities.
• Develop reusable integration templates and best practices.
• Stay up to date with industry trends in system integrations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing and developing integration solutions.
• 4+ years of experience building enterprise-scale integrations or API scripting.
• Proven track record of leading B2B system integration projects.
• Experience working directly with manufacturing systems/customers.
• Strong understanding of integration architectures, APIs, and data formats.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with system-to-system data mapping and workflow automation.
• Solid grasp of IT infrastructure, including networking and security best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple integration projects.
