Overview

The Manager of Montessori Learning and Innovation will play a key role in advancing the mission of the American Montessori Society by supporting special projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring quality Montessori practices, and collaborating across departments.

• Lead initiatives to enhance Montessori education quality.
• Collaborate with various teams to develop professional development content.
• Manage the Emerging Leader Fellowship Program.
• Support cross-departmental projects related to Montessori innovation.
• Ensure alignment with AMS standards in all initiatives.
• Curate content for diverse adult learners in the Montessori community.
• Assist in developing research papers and publications.
• Provide insights and support to internal teams as a Montessori thought partner.
• Work on continuous improvement efforts for educational programs.
• Engage in work-related travel 2-4 times per year.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years experience in a Montessori environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Experience in educational research and familiarity with IRB processes.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with diverse educators and partners.
• Comfortable using productivity tools and learning management systems.
