Overview

The Senior Director of Accreditation and Affiliation provides visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational excellence to AMS’s school accreditation and teacher education program (TEP) affiliation processes.

• Guide the strategic direction for AMS school accreditation and teacher education program affiliation.
• Develop and execute a growth plan to increase the number of accredited schools.
• Lead the ongoing evaluation and improvement of accreditation processes.
• Manage budgets for TEP affiliation and school accreditation activities.
• Collaborate with various departments to enhance member engagement.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Represent AMS at conferences and public forums.
• Monitor key performance metrics for growth and retention.
• Ensure fiscal accountability and efficient resource allocation.
• Develop reports and presentations for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in education accreditation or related field.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing complex processes.
• Familiarity with Montessori education principles preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and project management tools.
• Experience with change management is a plus.
