Overview

We’re looking for a talented engineering manager to join our “Core” squad – that is, the group of folks responsible for building core product features for our MCP, Connectivity API and Embedded iPaaS products. Here you’ll do the best work of your life and have a massive impact. Thousands rely on us for their day to day operations – you’ll have a key role in shaping that experience.

In Short

• Help build the best possible product that is performant, reliable, scalable and beautiful.
• Lead a team of frontend, backend, and full stack engineers.
• Solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product, QA, and revenue organizations.
• Learn new things and challenge yourself to architect and implement features.
• Manage queues, schedule jobs, and handle large-scale infrastructure challenges.
• Create internal tooling for high transaction volume.
• Participate in regular code reviews.
• Foster a deep-rooted documentation culture.
• Provide mentoring and feedback to your team.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience with Node, React, Typescript, JavaScript, AWS, MongoDB, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record as a technical and people leader.
• Strong problem-solving skills and debugging techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in back-end development concepts.
• Experience running production systems.
• Understanding of security in software development.
