Assistant Field Experience Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Assistant Field Experience Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the practicum and field experience processes for the College of Nursing at Walden University, primarily working in a remote environment.

In Short

• Assist nursing students with practicum applications and field placements.
• Process and maintain student Field Experience files.
• Serve as liaison between university and practicum agencies.
• Resolve student problems related to practicum experiences.
• Communicate policies and procedures to students and faculty.
• Prepare and maintain reports and documentation.
• Perform clerical duties and assist in training new team members.
• Participate in meetings and professional development.
• Work collaboratively with Field Experience staff.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1+ year of experience in an online distance-learning environment.
• Experience working with graduate students preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Excellent customer service and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and anticipate trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
