Overview

The Nurse Field Experience Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the practicum and field experience processes for the College of Nursing in a remote capacity, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure a successful field experience for students.

In Short

• Assist with practicum and field experience processes.
• Review and approve field sites and preceptors.
• Maintain student Field Experience files and applications.
• Communicate with students regarding Field Experience information.
• Train and mentor new team members.
• Work with faculty and graduate students at a distance.
• Prepare and maintain reports and documentation.
• Develop new initiatives to increase student satisfaction.
• Participate in professional development programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in health or human services.
• Active RN Licensure required.
• Experience in nursing with knowledge of clinical practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and creatively.
• Experience in academic or student advising preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in an online distance-learning environment preferred.
• Successful teamwork experience.
