Overview

Chamberlain University is seeking a collaborative and experienced academic leader to serve as Associate Dean – Online, focusing on the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of online nursing programs, particularly the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) track.

In Short

• Oversee faculty teaching DNP practicum courses.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure effective practicum experiences.
• Monitor and report on student success metrics.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Support program operations including curriculum management.
• Supervise assistant deans, faculty managers, faculty, and staff.
• Participate in faculty recruitment and mentoring.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD) required.
• Experience in online nursing education and academic leadership.
• Familiarity with DNP project and practicum processes preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise faculty and staff.
• Experience with curriculum and course development.
• Knowledge of program assessment and accreditation.
• Proven ability to manage student learning experiences.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to analyze and report on student success metrics.
• Effective communicator and role model in academic excellence.
