Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Online BSN Program - Remote

Overview

The Associate Dean of Faculty directs and provides leadership for all online BSN faculty and academic staff to ensure curricula are current and consistently delivered in an environment and manner that achieves superior student outcomes.

In Short

• Participates in recruitment, selection, and onboarding of faculty and staff.
• Administers nursing program curricula implementation and assessment.
• Ensures alignment of learning experiences with BSN curriculum.
• Creates plans for student success, including retention and graduation rates.
• Evaluates course resources and assessment data.
• Supports faculty with implementation of changes for student needs.
• Serves as a mentor for faculty and staff in academic excellence.
• Collaborates with campus leadership for budget preparation.
• Monitors student academic success data for curriculum improvement.
• Responsible for teaching up to three courses per year.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in nursing required; Doctorate preferred.
• 5 years of experience in nursing education at the Bachelor level or above.
• Development/participation in simulation/clinical experience.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Above average competency in Microsoft Suite of products.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and advise clinical faculty.
• Unencumbered professional IL nursing licensure required.
