Senior Commercial Counsel GTM (West) - Remote

Overview

The Senior Commercial Counsel at Abnormal Security will provide strategic legal support to various internal teams while managing day-to-day sales and commercial legal processes.

In Short

• Lead execution of commercial legal processes.
• Negotiate and close contracts including NDAs and software licensing agreements.
• Collaborate with financial teams on contracting guidelines.
• Update and maintain commercial legal playbooks.
• Develop training materials for the GTM team.
• Manage deal flow and outside counsel relationships.
• Assist with legal and operational risk audits.
• Design workflows in CLM platforms.
• Stay current with legal technology and tools.

Requirements

• 10+ years of legal experience in law firms and in-house.
• JD / US law degree and bar admission.
• Experience with B2B SaaS and software license agreements.
• Ability to resolve complex business issues.
• Familiarity with global operations.
• Experience in startup environments.
• Proficiency in legal tools and software.
• Privacy and cybersecurity experience is a plus.
