Overview

Abnormal AI is seeking an Outbound Solutions Architect to serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor to existing customers, focusing on transitioning from legacy Secure Email Gateways to platform-native email security.

In Short

• Drive strategy for accounts with legacy Secure Email Gateways.
• Generate interest in SEG displacement and build a strong pipeline.
• Lead architecture-level conversations regarding SEG displacement.
• Translate SEG capabilities into Abnormal-equivalent workflows.
• Build customer-specific business cases for risk reduction and cost savings.
• Support advanced testing and proof of concept requirements.
• Collaborate on product direction with Product Management and Engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture with email security expertise.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Exchange.
• Strong knowledge of Secure Email Gateways and ICES solutions.
• Expertise in email security protocols like SMTP and DMARC.
• Experience in SEG replacement projects.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements like GDPR and HIPAA.
• Strong discovery skills and proven ability to earn trusted advisor status.
• Excellent technical presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
