Overview

The Compliance Officer at ServiceMac is responsible for ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies within the mortgage servicing industry, while promoting an ethical culture and investigating compliance issues.

In Short

  • Subject matter expert in GNMA and Loss Mitigation Servicing activities.
  • Performs and supports audits of compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Collaborates with various departments to address compliance issues.
  • Responds to alleged violations by recommending investigative procedures.
  • Monitors compliance activities and identifies trends.
  • Supports compliance performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Handles moderately complex assignments with decision-making latitude.
  • Acts in an advisory capacity to the Compliance staff.
  • Works under the supervision of the SVP Compliance.
  • Requires 5-10 years of compliance or audit experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of compliance, audit, or loss mitigation experience.
  • Certification in compliance, ethics, or internal audit preferred.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic are essential.
  • Basic knowledge of audit processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
