In Short

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and cultivate potential clients through proactive outreach, cold calling, and leveraging networking opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, develop long-term partnerships and ensure customer satisfaction and renewals.
  • Client Consultations: Meet with clients to understand their energy needs and identify the best way to serve them.
  • Continuously Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings.
  • Sales Presentations: Compose and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Address client concerns and objections to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaboration with Teams: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • CRM Management: Use CRM tools to track leads and manage accounts.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years’ experience in the energy industry or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B outside sales.
  • Experience identifying new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
  • Ability to work autonomously while embracing a team-oriented sales process.
  • Demonstrate effective collaboration within a team.
  • Ambition, passion, teamwork, and grit.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Ideal candidate will live in: Iowa, New York, Pennsylvania, or Maryland.
