Overview

The Manager, Deal Desk & Proposals at 2U is responsible for supporting the business terms of deals in partnership with sales teams, ensuring clarity in commercial strategy and managing the deal flow process.

In Short

• Lead and manage deal review processes with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Sales Support.
• Own and evolve commercial strategy documentation.
• Identify improvement opportunities in deal flow.
• Evaluate business capabilities for supporting deals.
• Validate deal-specific considerations throughout the deal cycle.
• Project manage supporting documents for deals, including RFPs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years of experience in a Deal Desk capacity.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• 1+ year of people management experience preferred.
• Experience influencing commercial strategy for B2B SaaS.
• Previous B2B sales experience preferred.
