Overview

The Field Service Engineer provides customer support through the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex laboratory equipment and systems, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients.

In Short

• Install, maintain, validate, and repair laboratory instrumentation.
• Provide troubleshooting and repair services within prescribed time frames.
• Communicate service offerings including training and support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in repair of laboratory equipment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Technical problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under time constraints and follow directions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices.
• Vendor certification on relevant laboratory equipment preferred.
• Ability to handle hazardous materials safely.
