Field Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for performing warranty repairs and commissioning of SMA utility inverters in the field, ensuring high customer satisfaction while working with high voltage electricity.

In Short

• Commission and troubleshoot SMA utility inverters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical or electronic fields.
• Experience in the solar energy industry preferred.
• Ability to work nonstandard hours occasionally.
• Knowledge of solar and alternative energy markets preferred.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
