Field Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Engineer at Probo Medical is responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and calibration of diagnostic imaging devices, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

In Short

• Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Conduct quality assurance testing and calibration of imaging systems.
• Train medical staff on the proper use of equipment.
• Document all inspections and repairs accurately.
• Respond to customer service calls and schedule maintenance.
• Maintain knowledge of current service software and imaging technology.
• Travel to customer locations as required (up to 80%).

Requirements

• Degree in electronics, biomedical engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in servicing medical equipment.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to travel frequently for work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High degree of mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours and on-call schedules.
