Field Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Engineer will provide mechanical and electrical support at customer sites, both in the UK and overseas, ensuring efficient service and maintenance of food industry equipment.

In Short

• Provide hands-on mechanical/electrical field support for EMEA equipment.
• Conduct general service visits, inspections, refurbishments, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and repair system failures or malfunctions.
• Assist with installation and provide technical support as needed.
• Supervise other engineers on-site when required.
• Document all maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Provide feedback on market information and customer comments.
• Willingness to travel at short notice.
• Valid driving license is required.

Requirements

• Mechanical background with electrical skills preferred.
• Experience in installation or maintenance of complex equipment.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving techniques using an analytical approach.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good PC skills (Word, Excel).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
