Manager, Accounts Payable - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Manager to join our dynamic and rapidly growing global accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity within a high-growth, fast-paced company based in South King County.

In Short

• Manage and support the AP team, including training and performance evaluations.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors; resolve payment issues.
• Enforce internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Monitor KPIs and implement improvements in AP processes.
• Support internal and external audit processes related to accounts payable.
• Collaborate with accounting operations to ensure seamless workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years supervising a high-volume accounts payable environment.
• Proactive supervision and team management skills.
• Experience with large ERP systems; MSFT D365 is a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Self-starter with problem-solving capabilities.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Accounting experience preferred.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience preferred.
