Accounts Payable Manager - Remote

Overview

The DHHS Financial Service Center is seeking a Business Manager I. In this position, you will supervise the Accounts Payable (AP) team responsible for processing internal and external payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with federal, state, and departmental guidelines.

In Short

• Supervise the Accounts Payable team and manage payment processes.
• Oversee daily operations including workflow management and payment tracking.
• Review complex transactions for compliance and audit purposes.

Requirements

• Education or experience in Business/Public Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• Good critical thinking skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Prior experience in accounting and operational management.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
