Overview

The Benefits Manager will lead Zapier’s global benefits and leave programs, ensuring they remain competitive, compliant, and financially sustainable in support of Zapier’s strategic growth.

In Short

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of health, life, disability, retirement, and other specialized benefit programs.
  • Own high-impact deliverables such as U.S. Open Enrollment and global benefit renewals.
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to refine benefits processes.
  • Oversee vendor and broker relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Ensure all benefits programs meet or exceed compliance standards.
  • Design and manage global leave programs ensuring legal compliance.
  • Evaluate new and emerging benefits for compliance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Act as a global subject matter expert for benefits and leave.
  • Coach and mentor teammates in compliance and program management.
  • Communicate program progress and risks transparently to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Benefits, Leave, or Total Rewards.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills, comfortable with data analysis.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Experience with U.S. benefits and leave programs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • AI-first mindset and curiosity about automation tools.
