SPS is seeking a Manager, Benefits to lead and optimize our benefits programs across multiple states. This high-impact, strategic, and hands-on role is perfect for an experienced benefits leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

In Short

  • Design, evaluate, and enhance competitive, compliant, and cost-effective benefits policies.
  • Develop and implement multi-state benefits strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide recommendations for continuous program improvement.
  • Ensure effective integration of benefits programs during mergers and acquisitions.
  • Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage reporting requirements and audits.
  • Develop communication strategies to educate employees on benefits offerings.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees on benefits issues.
  • Manage relationships with benefits providers and negotiate contracts.
  • Analyze benefits utilization and make data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in benefits management.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits laws and compliance requirements.
  • Experience overseeing employee benefits programs in the US and Canada.
  • Proven ability to develop and optimize comprehensive benefits strategies.
  • Experience managing benefits administration platforms and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
