Benefits Manager - Remote

Overview

The Benefits Manager will lead our benefits administration and plan design initiatives within the United States. This role will be instrumental in developing and managing the company’s benefits programs, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and enhancing employee engagement through effective benefits offerings.

In Short

• Design, implement, and manage employee benefits programs including health and welfare, pension and 401k plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employee benefits.
• Perform regular audits and assessments on benefit plans and recommend improvements.
• Manage relationships with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and other vendors including an insurance broker.
• Conduct benefit orientations and workshops to educate employees about their options.
• Provide customer service support to internal and external customers including carriers and third party administrators.
• Preparation of 5500 audit documents and filings.
• Lead our Retirement Plan Committee by convening quarterly meetings with advisors.
• Conducting contract negotiations for insurance in collaboration with a broker.
• Responsible for overseeing the operations of a Benefits Specialist.
