As a New Business Developer, you will be at the heart of the strategy for major brands, proposing innovative research solutions and driving new client acquisition.
In Short
Generate appointments with prospects, both independently and with business developers.
Prepare client meetings by developing business cases based on marketing challenges.
Conduct meetings to understand needs, present solutions, and highlight YouGov's contributions.
Negotiate and close sales autonomously, adapting to different situations.
Transition new clients to the consulting and account management teams.
Work in a 100% New Business-oriented team focused on acquiring new clients.
Requirements
Strong understanding of marketing issues related to brands and interest in brand strategies.
Ability to initiate deals and a motivation for winning new clients.
Skill in identifying hot topics for prospects.
Experience managing long and complex sales with C-level stakeholders.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and comfort with data interpretation.
Fluent in English, as it is the working language across YouGov offices.
Experience in a research institute is a plus.
