In Short

  • Xometry is seeking highly motivated Mechanical Engineers to act as customer-facing Technical Account Managers (TAMs).
  • TAMs will be embedded within strategic accounts, acting as an extension of their engineering teams.
  • This role blends customer engagement, technical expertise, and operational execution.
  • TAMs will report into Operations but work closely with Sales.

  • Ability to travel to customer sites 2 days a week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and DFM principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel to customer and partner sites 2 days a week.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.
