Overview

We’re looking for a high-performing, self-driven Strategic Account Manager to drive new customer acquisition in 2–3 key verticals. In this role, you’ll focus on identifying and closing new business with strategic accounts, bringing Wowza’s powerful software solutions to organizations with complex, high-value needs. This is a great opportunity for a consultative, solutions-oriented seller who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

In Short

  • Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting to close — for high-value accounts within assigned verticals.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting, strategic partnerships, and targeted campaigns.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing to develop and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Conduct deep discovery to understand customer challenges and map them to Wowza’s software offerings.
  • Negotiate and close deals with both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic insights and market feedback to influence Wowza’s product and go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS or deployable software environments.
  • Proven success in landing and growing new strategic accounts.
  • Strong consultative selling and solution-based approach, especially in technically sophisticated markets.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams.
  • Domain experience in verticals like public sector, education, or media is a plus — but not required.
  • No video or streaming background required — we’ll help you get up to speed.
