Workshop Venture Partners is seeking a visionary entrepreneur committed to accelerating the world's transition to a sustainable future to join us as an Entrepreneur in Residence focused on Climate. In this role, you will partner closely with Workshop's team to identify, validate and launch a new venture aimed at dramatically reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

In Short

• Conducting a deep dive into key climate tech sectors to uncover high-potential opportunities
• Pressure testing venture concepts with industry experts, target customers and scientific advisors
• Developing the initial product, business model and go-to-market strategy
• Building an exceptional founding team with the right mix of climate expertise and startup experience
• Launching a minimum viable product and driving early customer adoption

Requirements

• Successful track record founding and scaling climate technology startups
• Deep subject matter expertise in a key sector like clean energy, decarbonized transport, carbon removal, etc.
• Exceptional ability to translate complex science into world-changing products and businesses
• Proven leadership skills and experience building strong technical and business teams
• Unrelenting commitment to developing scalable solutions to the climate crisis
• Entrepreneurial drive, creativity and a bias toward action
