Total Rewards Analyst (Payroll & Tax Analyst) - Remote

Overview

Workit Health is seeking a remote Total Rewards Analyst to join the HR team. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, People Services (People Operations) and will run day-to-day payroll and employee tax operations for a company of 150-200 employees and contractors.

In Short

• Own full-cycle payroll & tax operations.
• Create and execute pay processes with compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees.
• Resolve open tax issues promptly.
• Monitor and process department mail digitally.
• Organize special pay and tax projects for state expansion.
• Own equity administration in Carta.
• Other pay, tax, and people services duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in People Operations or Payroll.
• 1+ years as the primary payroll point of contact.
• Experience with HRIS platforms like Rippling or Paylocity.
• Proven ability to manage start-to-finish projects.
• Expertise in payroll, employee taxes, and pay law.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders professionally.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
