Associate Medical Director - Remote

Overview

The Associate Medical Director at Workit Health is responsible for collaborating with a physician to provide care to members, clinical oversight, and managing a team of staff providers in a remote telehealth setting.

In Short

• Provide regional clinic oversight (75% admin, 25% client care)
• Lead a team of providers in evidence-based practice
• Champion clinic leadership initiatives
• Collaborate with senior medical directors for quality care
• Continuously improve care delivery with clinical leadership
• Leverage data for process improvements
• Support provider template development
• Conduct virtual shared medical and individual appointments
• Make assessments and treatment plans for patients
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate records

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Florida or Texas preferred
• 1 year experience in addiction medicine
• Leadership experience preferred
• Experience prescribing SUD medications
• Active DEA license
• Current BLS certification
• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states
• Ability to adapt in a changing environment
• Familiarity with online work tools and professionalism
