Overview

The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for optimizing drug therapy, identifying and resolving drug-related problems, and improving therapeutic outcomes while ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
  • Massachusetts Pharmacist License required.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a pharmacist preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge in IV Admixtures, Drug Information, and Drug Distribution.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with legal requirements and drug handling practices.
  • Ability to assess patient needs across all age groups.
  • Participation in department quality improvement efforts.
  • Ability to document and report clinical interventions.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
