Contact Lens Technician - Remote

Overview

The Contact Lens Technician will assist optometrists and ophthalmologists in providing quality eye care services, performing a variety of administrative, clinical, and technical duties to ensure efficient operations and excellent patient experiences.

• Perform specialized tests under the direction of the optometrist.
• Assist patients with contact lens insertion, removal, and care instructions.

• Handle shipping and receiving of contact lenses.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of optometry/ophthalmology experience preferred.
• Proficiency in performing various eye-related tests.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
