Remote Preoperative Evaluation Nurse - Per Diem

Overview

The Preoperative Evaluation Registered Nurse is responsible for conducting comprehensive preoperative assessments to ensure patients are medically optimized and fully prepared for their scheduled surgical or procedural care.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• PACU/PreOp or PreOP eval nursing experience required.
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to function under stress with good interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated observational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Adheres to all C.A.R.E. standards.
• Effective skills in applying hospital standards.
