Overview

The Preoperative Evaluation Registered Nurse conducts comprehensive assessments to ensure patients are medically optimized for surgical procedures, promoting patient safety and a positive experience.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in PACU/PreOp or PreOp evaluation nursing required.
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to function under stress and manage priorities.
