Overview

The Resource Navigator for MGB Youth Programs supports young people and their families in accessing the academic, social, and community-based resources they need to thrive.

In Short

  • Conduct intake and needs assessments with youth participants.
  • Connect students and families to various resources.
  • Serve as a consistent advocate for youth and families.
  • Collaborate with staff and community organizations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of engagement and outcomes.
  • Develop resource guides and referral lists.
  • Participate in team meetings and program evaluations.
  • Promote an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Develop and distribute newsletters and social media content.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in youth development or education.
  • Experience with diverse populations preferred.
  • Knowledge of Boston-area schools and resources preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to serving diverse communities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
