Senior Router, Roll Off - Remote

Overview

The Senior Router role involves communicating with Waste Management drivers to assist with problem resolution while on route, handling service orders, and interacting with customers and operational staff.

In Short

• Remote position with virtual and onsite training.
• Must reside within the Florida Market area.
• Flexible shifts between 2am - 9pm ET, Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturdays.
• Strong communication and computer skills preferred.
• Handles incoming service orders and directs drivers.
• Uses Waste Management proprietary software.
• Potential for overtime and Saturday hours.
• Initial travel (up to 15%) may be required.
• Records and documents information from drivers.
• Serves as an escalation point for other dispatchers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of 2 years dispatching experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple monitors and software.
• Effective communication via email and phone.
• Willingness to learn Waste Management software applications.
• Additional training in transportation or logistics is a plus.
• Must be able to work in a home office setting.
