Dispatcher/Router Combo - Remote

Overview

This position involves communicating with Waste Management drivers to assist with problem resolution while on route, handling incoming service orders, directing drivers, and resolving service issues.

In Short

• Remote position with virtual and onsite training.
• Applicants must reside within the Florida Market area.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Experience in dispatching/routing or the waste industry is a plus.
• Strong communication and computer skills are preferred.
• Shift starts between 9am to 11am ET, Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturdays.
• Handles incoming calls and emails from customer service and sales.
• Uses proprietary software to enter ticket information and track activity.
• Potential for overtime and Saturday hours depending on site needs.
• Some initial travel (up to 15%) may be required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 6 months of relevant work experience, preferably in a team setting.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer skills to handle multiple monitors and software applications.
• Effective communication via email, telephone, and 2-way devices.
• Desire and ability to learn proprietary software applications.
