Dispatcher/Router Combo - Remote

Overview

This position involves communicating with Waste Management drivers to assist with problem resolution while on route. The dispatcher will handle incoming service orders, direct drivers, and resolve service issues, using proprietary software to track activity.

• Remote position with virtual and onsite training
• Applicants must reside within the Florida Market area
• Experience in dispatch/routing or waste industry preferred
• Strong communication and computer skills are necessary
• Shift starts between 9am to 11am ET, Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays
• Handles dispatching and routing of drivers
• Interacts with customers and operational staff
• Uses Waste Management software for operations
• Potential for overtime and Saturday hours
• Initial travel (up to 15%) may be required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 6 months of relevant work experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team setting
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred experience in transportation or logistics
• Ability to handle multiple computer systems
• Desire to learn proprietary software
