Overview

The Senior Workout Officer will manage and resolve a portfolio of distressed loans secured primarily by rent-regulated multifamily properties in New York City, focusing on navigating complex restructurings and judicial foreclosure processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 9+ years of experience in commercial real estate workouts.
• Proven experience in negotiating commercial loan documentation.
• Background in managing rent-regulated multifamily properties.
• Experience with judicial foreclosures and REO management.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and risk management systems.
• Understanding of NYC rent regulation.
• Ability to interpret regulatory standards and legal documentation.
