Overview

As a Senior HR Generalist at WM, you will be a trusted advisor and first point of contact for employees, providing expert guidance on policies, employee relations, and HR processes while ensuring a positive and compliant work environment.

In Short

  • Provide coaching and counseling to employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues while balancing employee advocacy with company policies.
  • Support internal processes including Performance Management and New Hire Orientation.
  • Conduct training on company policies and programs.
  • Participate in recruitment outreach efforts.
  • Contribute to People related project teams.
  • Mentor others within the People department.
  • Assist in the development of HR processes and policies.
  • Escalate potential legal and safety concerns to the People Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Four years of relevant work experience in HR.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or CHRP Certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to make decisions based on incomplete information.
  • Strong learning agility and comfort with ambiguity.
