Overview

Wisetack is seeking an experienced Lead Credit Analyst to join our Risk team, responsible for analytical projects that drive critical decisions concerning portfolio performance and sustainable underwriting strategies.

In Short

• Conduct in-depth trend and portfolio analysis
• Make recommendations to optimize underwriting and credit/fraud decision-making
• Partner with Analytics, Data Science, and Data Engineering
• Build data models and automated data reporting
• Mentor team members on data best practices
• 5+ years of experience in an analytical role
• 2+ years of consumer lending experience
• Proficiency in SQL, R or Python
• Excellent communication skills
• Desire to take ownership of projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in math, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience in an analytical role
• 2+ years of consumer lending experience
• Proficiency in SQL, R or Python
• Proficiency in Data Lake, DBT or Git
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Desire to take ownership of projects
