Compliance Manager in FinTech - Remote

Overview

We seek a highly experienced compliance professional to oversee and manage all aspects of financial licensing, regulatory compliance, and risk management for our company.

In Short

• Drive and manage financial licensing processes in the EU and Great Britain.
• Maintain and open correspondent accounts.
• Handle complex legal requests and RFIs.
• Record keeping and structuring of relevant documentation.
• Serve as a liaison with law firms, auditors, and regulators.
• Stay updated on financial regulations including AML and KYC.
• Develop and implement compliance programs.
• Conduct audits and manage regulatory reporting.
• Lead crisis response and maintain business continuity.
• Improve company policies according to regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in Legal Counsel/Regulatory Compliance roles.
• Experience in regulated companies with EU/UK licenses.
• Proficiency in technology and fintech-related software.
• Excellent communication skills for complex information.
• Understanding of international corporate law and compliance principles.
• Leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and fraud policies.
• Experience with CRM systems like Jira.
• Master’s degree in Law or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
