Overview

As a Senior Compliance Manager at Aspire, you will play a critical role in developing compliance programs for payment products and services, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements as the company scales its operations in Europe.

In Short

• Lead the development of compliance and AML programs in the Netherlands.
• Act as a subject matter expert on compliance matters.
• Support license application projects in the Netherlands.
• Establish and enforce corporate compliance policies.
• Report to the Executive Risk Committee and Board of Directors.
• Collaborate with the Global Head of Compliance.
• Identify and mitigate regulatory risks.
• Implement compliance strategies in line with legal requirements.
• Engage with regulatory bodies like DNB and AFM.
• Foster a culture of compliance within the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in senior compliance roles.
• Strong knowledge of compliance topics (KYB/KYC, AML/CFT).
• Experience in the Payments/Fintech industry.
• Deep knowledge of DNB regulations for electronic money institutions.
• Familiarity with PSD2 and its implementation.
• Experience with AFM and market conduct compliance.
• Regulatory expertise in Dutch Financial Law.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with leadership qualities.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated with industry regulations.
