Overview

The Sales Engineer is responsible for generating revenue through strategic partnerships and providing technical support for cybersecurity solutions.

In Short

  • Work in a flexible environment with options to work remotely or in-office.
  • Forge relationships with channel partners to promote and sell cybersecurity solutions.
  • Provide technical support and training to partners and customers.
  • Assist in technical evaluations and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
  • Contribute to product management by providing feedback from partners and customers.
  • Participate in sales calls and meetings as a trusted security advisor.
  • Complete sales certifications and technical training within the first 120 days.
  • Identify and report on competitive trends in the cybersecurity market.
  • Create technical content for presentations to various audiences.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective partner support.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of pre-sales technical experience.
  • Knowledge of WatchGuard products or competitors like SonicWALL and Fortinet.
  • Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
  • Driving License B is required.
